LiFetiMe DeciSions

Life is the mix of sadness and happiness for a life full of either would not be as pleasant as one of both. Why is sadness important in our lives? well that is simple, only after hardships do we understand the value of our lives and all the good things we have. A lot are afraid of failing, but even more don't take opportunities because of it; the word "FAILURE" is part of their dictionary and has a big influence in their lives. But if you really go back to all your success in life, you would find that atleast half of it came after "failing" or in my case it is simply after going through some experience and learnt. Because "Failing" is not and should not be feared but rather seen as an experience to learn from.

So after being friends with failure, comes situations were many hesitate to take, including myself. There are those simple situations where we tend to easily make decisions, but there are others of a life time choice that would need more thinking. These are situations of fear of the "Unknown" that is not a bit clear to any. The only thing that one can do is simply study what he has and choose between the alternatives.

Here also arouses another problem.. "What if we don't have any alternatives?" or simply, "alternatives come one at a time?" then there is only two things that can be done:
Risk it and take the very first one, or if you ain't comfortable with the first then wait for the second (if it ever comes next. So in both cases you are taking a risk. A risk that it might not work out very well in the first one, and a risk that you may not get a Second one.)

So how do you go about this situation?

Well maybe a personal view would help you ...

For me, as many others, I prefer choices cause it ease my decision making. But if no choices exist at the same time, then unless I'm very interested in the first given offer, then I would wait for the second. I would prefer to take the risk of not finding anything than just taking the first that I may not be comfortable with.

U know, feelings or what is said to be "INSTINCTS" do play a major role in decisions. So always listen to it and believe in it.

Life is full of hard choices, that at many times we don't take the right ones, cause we not always know which are. But we "LEARN" and that is important.

Know what you want and weight the choices... and SMILE

SALAAM AIESEC seminar

They say, “ a picture is worth thousand words”.

Well does our picture show those thousand words? I bet it does especially with all faces smiling. Well let’s say its Xtra Smiling:)

We tend in our lives to meet a lot of people who simply fade as the day passes by, but others we build special relations with. Those are people who have those same personality traits which ease the communication and builds sustainable relation between each member.

Sometimes we feel comfortable with people at the moment we sit together and have a tiny chat. It is something that cannot be explained with logic but rather with feelings. A lot don’t support the fact that there exist a ‘first impression’ towards people we have not had a few hours with. This first impression can play it all: either you express it with fondness or you keep the distant. But with a group full of energy the second choice is surely not an option to be listed. With such members who are enthusiastic, eager, wild, intelligent, and achievers one certainly will build a fond relation with its members.

The SalamAIESECer is a group of Arab students including: UAE nationals, Saudi, Bahraini, Syrian, Lebanese, and Palestinian. The group is of mixed sexes with only 4 adorable cute ladies that are unique :P These ladies along with the guys who add up the special spices to the group are looking forward to the experience AIESEC would provide them with whether it is work or culture.

A two day seminar was (Thurs and Fri 26,27 May) given to the group to prepare them for the upcoming US journey. During the sessions, the members were familiarized with the concept of the exchange program and the expectation the AIESECers have towards them. In addition, coming from a different culture, the group was given a presentation that would prepare each for any cultural shock that might occur while traveling or even on the way back home. It was fun to see that members tend to make assumptions about different cultures which made communication more difficult to attain.

The two days were ended with a dinner gathering for new and old Salamers where questions and experiences where shared between the two parties. We left the restaurants with a lot of happiness but also sadness because the day has come to an end and we have to go back to our normal life.

Being part of the group for the whole two days felt like paradise which we surely will do every now and then.

A new Sp!r!t in the AIESEC WoRld

Welcome to the Sp!r!t WoRld where pure, hOneSt Ppl (oops) I me@n Sp!r!ts meEt to forM that uNiQue frIendsHip RelaTion....

I am The Sp!r!t from the world of wonders, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Where dreams come true but not any dreams, only those extraordinary ones which every person has alist of.

I am a female who aside from being in love with my country, traveled abroad to a list of countries including: Singapore, US, Germany, India, Australia, UK, etc (well it still can go on..)
Travel is a fantasy to me where I perceive the country from its locals eyes. It is just fascinating to hear the history of places that have stood there for ages and the heros who fought for peace and rights.

I am a person who finds that life is precious and you oughta know how to fully consume every minutes of it in order to feel the happiness of achieving and adding up to it. I believe that its not our surroundings that add up to our lives, but rather our lives that add up to the surroundings. So there is no such thing as waiting.. but rather seeking and achieving.

As to few of ALOT of my hobbies.. I love sports especially horse riding, jet skiing, bowling, shooting. I have two extraordinary (well to me it is) hobbies that are writing and shooting photos.

This is a simple "To know me" post .. which i surely will add to ..

Keep yourself updated ... There is @lot to read about me.

Don't 4get to Smile
PS. Not ma eyes but a real @rabic eyes...
