The Arab world is known for its closeness between its family members in which gatherin is very frequent. But with the busyness of life and the lack of time, things have changed quite astonishly in which we lost that fond relation with our members. Due to the workin hours, members living inthe same house don't tend to meet so much, let's say once every week!! Can you imagine living with your brother and sister and your room is just a corner away and you only see him/her once if you're lucky....??!!!

Well, this is not something I want to have cause i don't want to end up one day regrettin not giving more time living with those I love. I simply can't bear it, thus no matter how busy, tired I may be, I would just try to give those i love the time needed. If you think of it, it surely pays alot to work hard, but if you rethink, you wouldn't want to live for work only; you don't want to miss one time opportunity of living.

That being said, my family usually gathers with our closest members every now and then to keep up the relation of love and caring. We tend to either go out for dinner, shoppin, trips, or a simple gathering at home. I surely have a big family, but we have only one or two members that are very close to us. My cousin Mona or as she likes it "Monaliza" is the closest to all my family members and we simply LOVE her so much. She is the person to have a laugh with, a person who'd support you and advice you whenever needed. BUTT she can also be so FIRM which I always get scared of her when she is :P hehehhehe well i've been bad at times but believe me she's ADORABLE.

Anyways.. last Friday I had a gathering for some AIESECers at my cousin's house where my family was present. We wanted them to show a bit of our life and give them the freedom to ask about whatever is on mind. We had barbeque, my cousin's SPECIAL salad, a home made maccoroni and lebanese "Ma7shi". We later had Green, Arabic and Morocon tea, just a flavor of everythin.;)

I hope all enjoyed it for my family and I loved having this small gang, and I hope that we didn't KILL you guys wid food and TEA esp ;)

We shall have it again, right couz? but in her new house inshala.. love you so much cousin and thanks for having this gathering at your house.
