Arabs...@ LAST!!

IT has been a while since I've enjoyed the company of fellow arabs. It is true that I chose not to live in Dearborn, or known as Freej el Arab, but still being away from home, the need for some arabic friends can't be ignored. When we get together, the place we are in tends to get filled with LOUD noises just because of our presence. Notice that for yourself anywhere in the world you are. We are a society that loves expressiving themselves LOUDLY, as in high pitch, excitment, and NO patience to talk hehehehe... Am proud to be one, because we add up to our surroundings some LIFE!! Rather than it being so dull and boring.
Yesterday I hang out with a Lebanese family friends. I have spoken to them through the phone, but only met them yesterday. I was a bit scared that I won't be getting along with them very well, but to my shock, I DID and very very well. They are so welcoming and nice. The fun part is speaking arabic all day, which I very much missed. It isn't LIFE if I don't speak arabic and be with arabs, but not always hanging with them only. I enjoyed downtown with a family that felt like mine.
Later that day, since I got a car temporary from the Lebanese family, I took my stuff and shifted to my apartment. When driving, I felt so nervous about getting lost or even not remember to FULLY stop on a stop sign!! (its not like back home where we simply take a stop sign like a "give way")But did make it safe to home. I also spent that evening at Arab's apartment where all students where invited to Dinner by our Kuwaiti CHEF uncle:P But the food was really good. IT was rice with 9alooonat la7am w deyay mashweeeeeeeeee .. yummy yummy...
I really enjoyed my time there getting to know new friends.. IT felt good to feel am home and won't be missing that much of it (well surely will but comprimisin:P)
When I came back to the empty apartment of mine, it felt so cozy being there. It is the most adorable apartment i've even seen, but empty and quiet. IT soon will inshala be filled with laughter of friends.
