I DID CAMP.. meaning a real sleep over which I was looking forward for.
I know it was almost a month ago or even a month and a half ago, but I simply didn't have the time to write about it and as the days passed, just forgot about the whole thing. So here is the experience..
We had a weekend trip planned to Ludington which is about 4 hours away from A2. We were about 17 members. We arrived at about 10 pm to Collin's family house where we will sleep over for the first day. When we reached, we were pampered by his mom who was so nice to bake for us brownies and apple crumbles, and they were DELICIOUS... Later that night we all gathered in thebasement and played an american game, which I have no idea what's its name. Well it is played all over the world, but seems americans do more often.
The second day, few members including me woke up at 9 am, even though we slept at about 3 am. Loving to fool around, I took my camera and took pictures of ppl still asleep, such as Femi (check him out with his bear;). Then to wake everyone, I simply kept playing the piano, keeping in mind that I don't really know how to play thus made those very LOUD HORRIBLE REPITITION he he he ... zzzzzee DEVIL!!!
AFter having breakfast which I helped doing:) we headed out to canoe for 3 whole hours. It was so much fun and I got to try kyaking which is much easier than canoing since ur working all alone rather than in a group where we would end up flippin and falling in the lake and getting SOAKED!!! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
After coming home, having a meal, taking shower, we headed to our camping spot which was in a preserved park beside the lake. CAN U IMAGINE!! Camping a meter away from the Beach... now that's ROMANCE but with no BF or husband :P hehehhehe..
When we arrived, we had two big fires and started bbqing... I HAD MA OWN HALAL meat .. so i enjoyed it toooooooooo .. then came the smores (marshmellos, biscuit and chocolate), that was yummyyyyyyyyyyy... Later at midnight we all gathered around the fire and members told stories and jokes. We then headed to bed, to wake up at 8 am and lay our eyes on the beautiful lake..
As the weekend came to an end, we didn't surely forget to have the american breakfast, Pancakes. This was such an awesome trip that I am willing to try it again... maybe in winter where i'll freeze:P
