O_o ok don't give me that look cause yes I have two birth dates for which many got confused esp my family not knowing which to celebrate n ending up celebrating none :P
So the story behind it is ....... NO I WASN'T BORN THEN PUT BACK INTO MOM'S TUMMY... it simply is the confusion in numbers!! my whole life, being written on ma passport, I celebrated the 23rd. But few years ago, dad bought ma birth certificate which stated that i'm born on the 3rd!! So usually I have two birthdays one for friends n the other for family members, which both tend to prefer the 23rd esp back home.
So now let me tell you about this year's EXTRAORDINARY celebration that I got.
I received a package from my very close friend in Qatar ... adorable earnings n 3 books that she loves :)
It all started with some friends of mine, making blow a cake on the first hours of my day, as in AM. That was very touching for It came from the heart and made it such a special day to start with but I DID FREEZE n only 3 of the candles lite up..... (DON'T ASK ME HOW OLD AM I .. hehehehhehe)
At day time, I went Ice Skating with the Arab gangs "Saeed, Humaid, Thyab and Hala". The rest couldn't make it. THEY MISSED N OPPORTUNITY to laugh on all of us as we haven't skated for the past 10 years where we used in UAE to go to Leisureland every WEEK... Skiing was awesome esp. when Humaid (Who made?:P) tried to give us a lesson on how to break or stop, and ended up falling hehehhehehehhehe sorry Who-Made ;)N not to forget our EXPERT Thyab who has this very funny skating position that he tried to teach us, but well... we aint such good students .. or are WE?
After an hour of skating, we were famished n starving, thus went to this Japanese restaurant which you only c on TV. The cheff cooks infront of you n gives you a really good show of Onion Volcano !!
hehehheheh Salem from Oman n Noora from Bahrain joined us for lunch/dinner. The food was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD n the company even better ;) N yeh, ma friends got me a cake with a candle n sang for ma BD.. how CUTE!!
Then we had some coffee at "Zas" which i've been told all about its cheese cake but was so full that i couldn't have any more food.. so hopefully next time.
That was it for the day ... or I thought so..
I went with Saeed grocery shopping for me to enjoy a relaxing night watching a movie n having popcorn n nachos... I was about to leave the car, but turned to ask him about his plans, which he was thinking of going to the cinema, so I joined. I firdt checked my apartment n found this beautiful bouquet of flower at my door from Mr. Hensel ;) they're adorable and surely did open the card that you gave me 4 months ago...
we went to the library, then left. While getting into the car, I got a call from Li'er asking where I was, but Saeed told me to call her later. He told me to close ma eyes n trust him. I told him, "I won't trust ur driving in the ice :P" hehehhe but I did... then I found myself hanging to a shawl and walking with MY EYES CLOSED!! I even WENT UP THE STAIRS n was complaning about it hehehehheh .. when i reached almost up, I opened my eyes to....................
thoughts that crossed my mind at that moment:
"N i thought they forgot about me"
"didn't know they were this big of a gang"
"I know almost all of them"
"I am so blessed to be here"
"I know i took the right decision by coming here"
"I don't think i'm homesick anymore"
those are the thoughts that crossed my mind at that specific moment when i opened my eyes and saw the AIESECers!!
I was really surprised n overwhelmed to have them all there just to wish me a happy birthday and make it a unique one.. n they did such a great job, thanks to all and to Saeed who cooperated with them... (i'm gonna get you for it hehehe)
Then we spent about half an hour in my apartment, had the brownie Joanne baked (thanks dear they're half good;) and enjoyed talking to all.... n the present OMG!! won't tell you hehehhehehehheheheh
So this was the BEST CELEBRATION EVER ....
