How to Succeed

Part of this evolving world, we encounter different experiences that build our personality and if it wasn't for each and every one of them, we won't be the person we are now.

If you were asked, "If you had the power to change your life, what will you change?" Many would think of hundreds if not thousands thoughts at the same time or situations they want to change, but when reality hits, you know that changing one aspect of your past life will respectively result in changes in today's life and thus the future life. So us. many would say, "I don't want to change a thing, because my past is what I am now and what I am going to be in the future." That being said, I still wish I can change one thing, but it aint for my own good.... cause i won't be myself if it wasn't for all the hardship I have gone through.

Being a person who LOVES reading about psychology, personalities or "Amthal", I always buy those chinese fortune biscutes and once got,
"Nature, time and patience are the three great healers"
It can't be more truly said because these are the necessity components of success. They say in arabic "es2al mojareb wala tes2al 6abeeb- ask an experienced person rather than a doctor" and truly is the best way to learn from others' experiences which means since you are reading MA weblog you are FORCED to read MA experience ;)

I've always was a person who'll get BORED of having nothing to do esp on internships or work experience. I would always prefer to have a busy schedule and feel that am productive. But since I started my work experience in the States and esp for the first 4-5 months, I was given such a tedious job that BORED me to DEATH!! I wasn't motivated at all to come to work and spend 8 hours of DOING NOTHING; it simply kills me. But with a situation such as that, there is no other way but to try n motivate yourself. Esp with an age younger than 30 (Hell no am not that old!!) it is the time one shapes the personality. Where as after the age 30, one become much stubborn n hard to change.

With the tedious job I was given, for the first time I question many jobs that are the same: librarian, dry cleaner, secretary, rental office, waiter in a small restaurant, cashier, etc... All these jobs have one thing in common, you surely can spend many hours waiting to do something!! BUT.. how do ppl keep themselves motivated n work?Well for me at least I have the internet, so I do alot of chatting, blogging, searching, etc. But nevertheless, its waking up, driving to work, spending 8 hours, driving back to home that needs inner motivation to keep me going.

I don't have a direct answer as I still haven't become so motivated, but I surely did work on it. One thing was to come up with a project for the company that in a way can develop their customer services. Another is to start a research project of my own and read online books of any kinds. The problem with such action is that once am bored I can't really do much plus I HATE READING materials on the net, always prefer a hard copy.

I have gone through ups and downs in this experience, but I have noticed that work environment plays a vital role in my decision to stay as the employees are so nice; in addition the type of work done directly affects the psychological state which with not much work, i get a low self esteem that affects my whole mood for the day. But with a busy schedule, I not at all feel tired, but enthusiastic and energetic to work and then spend time with my friends.

I k now I haven't said much... but know that it all depends on controling your thoughts in addition to the environment ur living and working at. Be patient and build urself

Make your choice btw a cute adorable gal and two princes.... ;)

So what's with the picture!!

Last Saturday, Saeed, Qais and I went to Frankenmuth Village. It is a German village with old days architecture all around the village.

We first visited the biggest Xmas shop which feels more like entering a fairy tale or simply disney land (haven't been there yet!!). The shop is AMAZING that you don't even wana leave. We met the owner who spoke a bit of Arabic. He also had on display old currencies of all countries including our own UAE. Maaaaaaaaaan its an old bill!!

Then we had lunch at a grill restaurant and the food was really good. Afterwards, we visited the village itself and couldn't get ourselves from going into every single shop especially the mirror maze. Unfortunatelly saeed had problems finding his way n crashing into the mirrors (sorry saeed but get ur prescription checked). N here is a nice picture of us all...

Later that afternoon we had a nice walk in the village as the weather was BEAUTIFUL, almost 60F.

Smile!!

Nuclear Weapons updates

The Bush administration appears determined to build a new generation of small nuclear weapons, especially "earth penetrators", designed to attack nuclear, chemical or biological materials buried deep underground.

In Britain, Ben Miller, a spokesman the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, told BBC News Online: "It is shocking, disgusting and disgraceful that US defence department officials are meeting in the very week of the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in which over 110,000 people died.
