haNd pRinTs

I seem to have something towards using hands and painting.. thus handprints as it brings it together. This is the second picture I have of my hands and I just love the look of it (printed version is better looking) as the background is black and only part of my suite shows and my palm.(more like Michigan map, but bring the fingers together)

Did I mention this before, "I love painting walls and decorating rooms"? Well now you know and I intend to do that once am back home as our room needs transformation. Surely I would do the painting by myself and all the decoration with the help of my sister, Hayooof.

... Just a backup plan incase I never was EMPLOYED or did enjoy it out there, can always be a painter:D not literally but well ...

PS. I am not all that good, but do crazy stuff. I remember two of our family friends loved my room and wanted me to paint theirs (my mother's friends). Hmmm might think of the offer:P

Cinco de Mayo

its now the 12th of Mayo and I totally forgot to share with you this event.

We had a celebration at work and it was a Friday so everyone was more relaxed as the weekend STARTS at 5 PM. Each bought a dish, mainly mexican, which most I couldn't eat because it had meat, in addition to other dishes, chicken (HALAL), sushi (LOVED IT) and ICECREAM for deserts.

We then had a fun game, the Pinyada, which honestly I had bad times remembering the name thus called it "Bin Laden" first because it sounds the same, and second, well you can tell from the picture.

So, for those who don't know, the Pinyada is full with chocolates and sweets, thus each one took a turn in hitting it, (HINT) up until it broke and we all enjoyed some shares of the sweets.

Part of a hand

.. that was the very first thing I learned about Michigan; it is in the shape of your palm and add to it the UPs (upper pennisula) which I can't quiet remember how!!

I reside in the middle of the palm(Ann Arbor), but have visited few of the close cities. One of which is Alpena, up North. I spend 2 days with Eric's family. It was an all girls drive up North and being in America, I couldn't go without trying the ROOT BEER FLOAT..

Ok ok ok ppl, not really beer, its just a type of Soda with Ice cream in it... really good :D (damn forgot to take a picture of it) The drive was about 3.30 hours but it wasn't on a highway so you can imagine how irritated we were driving a max of 100 km/hr.

We arrived at night, took dinner home from Lisa's Lookout Inn restaurant (she's the step mom of the gang) and went home to be warmed by the little devil "Mabel" whom was so excited to see the girls including a new face, MOI!.

The second day, I saw the house where the Hensel's grew up at and their granny's home.. one word, AMAZING and on a beautiful big lake, lake Huron that looks more like an ocean. We then saw MI3 (no not Michigan 3, mission impossible 3) and had dinner at the restaurant, you seriously should try it.

LOVED the whole trip!! and got pampered by the family:) felt like home
