are you prepared?

"and, now as a team, we were going to chase it one last time, only when the daylight faded this time, it would fade not just on one beautiful day among many, but on our beautiful life together. Shadows would lengthen for the last time. Night would fall for the last time. At some point, she would have to finish her round without me."

Some live a life full of success, busy schedules, late work, few family gatherings, and continuous work. Others live a more balanced life giving each life only 50% of the focus. Yet others live an empty life with nothing to remember...

All live their lives but none give attention to a reality called "Death" as we are busy with life and there isn't much to talk about esp being uncomfortable around such topic, thus postponing it endlessly if it was every thought of.

He is a successful CEO of one of the top American companies; he enjoys his career life and loves his family, but surely 80% of his time is spend on doing work. He would always work hard occupying all his day and missing almost every single event related to his daughter. He would postpone at times 'having fun' up until the vacation comes as there isn't much time for personal enjoyment. He awaits for the vacation to Hawaii where he, his wife and daughter would all spent it together and make up for his busy schedule. But.... that is not what fate has in hands.

On May 2005, everything changed. He stepped into the doctor's office with a schedule full for the upcoming 18 months. Six days later he resigned as a CEO and plan ahead what is left of his life as he is dignosed with brain cancer. There is no time for him to run away and ignore reality for he is gifted to be given an upfront warning rather than a spontaneous at the time one... he learns to conquer fear and enjoy the life given with his loved ones.

"Chasing Daylight is a confirmation that our lives and the ppl in them are temporary joy, but the time we spend enjoying them is never lost. " It is important not to ignore our personal life but rather balance it with our careers as what matters when we die is to have tried the very best to enjoy life with them....
